When I was a little kid my Grandma always came ans visited is in Marin County on her way to Hawaii. She always returned with a bright orange t-shirt with a white flower on it for me from some place called Mauna Kea. When Cynthia decided we should go to the big island, I insisted we had to stay at the famous Mauna Kea hotel for a few days as many of my family members had been there. Hawaii is beautiful, serene and the volacanoes are most impressive. To add a little adventure to our trip we did a doors off helicopter tour over the lava fields for some good shots. I have several interesting of an almost lunar landscape over the fields. A few more days of relaxation at Hualalai and lots of tennis made for a most relaxing vacation.
